Dr. Michelle Basu Roy

Dr. Michelle Basu Roy is a board certified Naturopathic Doctor and trained Osteopath. Her primary focus is clinical nutrition, targeted towards fat loss, athletic performance and optimal health. Michelle combines her skills in acupuncture and as an osteopath to reduce pain and promote balance and superior function in her patients. Michelle is an accomplished crossfit athlete and recently competed in the 2016 CrossFit Games East Regionals. She has been a strength coach for 12 years and integrates her advanced training methods with her clinical practice for optimal results.

Julian is a cofounder of CrossFit Metric and has over 10 years of experience as strength and conditioning coach.   Over the years Julian has helped 100’s of people achieve their fitness goals and coached numerous athletes competing in the sport of CrossFit at the Regionals level. He is dedicated to the process of problem solving in all aspects of life and loves to share and learn.  Respected by his peers, Julian has a long track record of producing RESULTS.

Anze Benko

Anze empowers others to achieve their wellness goals through fitness, nutrition and life coaching. His coaching career started in 2012, when he was exposed to OPEX coaching principles. Anze has 5 years of experience working successfully with a diversity of clients from the competitive CrossFit athlete to soccer moms trying to shed some post baby body fat. His work ethic, positive attitude and love for learning make him an ideal coach for the results oriented client. For his own part, Anze is a 2 time Crossfit Regionals competitor who keeps striving to achieve his potential as a high level athlete.His internal drive sets an example that inspires his clients to achieve more than they thought possible.

Munis Topcuoglu

Munis derives great satisfaction from helping people improve their relationships with their bodies. With this in mind, he tailors his program design and coaching according to his clients’ needs, addressing any combination of the following areas: Fat loss, Strength gain, Specific movement goals
Improving mobility, coordination, and motor control.

Munis always prioritizes good technique and the importance of movement quality–he teaches his clients to move in the most effective ways without sacrificing safety or the long-term durability of their bodies. In a similar vein, he also encourages healthy eating and is happy to give nutritional advice to clients who request it.

Kathryn Kearsey

Kathryn always comes to the gym with a positive energy. Her classes are fun, but are created to push her client’s boundaries. Kathryn is qualified in CrossFit, Yoga, Pilates, Kettlebell and Thai Massage. She continues to expand her knowledge on health and wellness by taking new courses. Kathryn also enjoys travelling to try new Crossfit gyms in different cities whenever possible, as each gym offers something unique. She has trained new yoga teachers, worked with GB Olympic athletes and has been featured in Vogue. “It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey.”

Jamie Tawil

Coach

Jamie discovered Crossfit in 2012 while living in the Cayman Islands and fell in love with the sport of fitness immediately. While being a coach at Metric, Jamie stays active in a number of sports including soccer, hockey, skiing and kickboxing. With experience coaching younger athletes in hockey he enjoys working with novice to advanced fitness enthusiasts of all ages. Jamie always brings a positive energy to the gym and his passion for fitness inspires everyone around him.

Sammy Jo Johnson

Coach

Sammy Jo brings over 8 years of experience to the coaching of human movement. She is a Level 1 CrossFit Coach and an NCCP certified Gymnastics Coach. After competing at the national level as a gymnast Sammy fell in love with the sport of CrossFit! Sammy coaches with a keen eye, an encouraging heart and a helping hand. She is passionate about your fitness goals and works to create a fun, encouraging environment!

Ryan Poroznik

Coach

Coach Ryan is highly qualified with more than 10,000 hours of coaching experience. He is a Level 2 CrossFit Coach, OPEX Coach, competitive CrossFit athlete and has operated and managed his on CrossFit Affiliate.

Prior to his involvement with CrossFit, Ryan played varsity football and competitive Hockey and Golf. Ryan genuinely cares about making others better and invests emotionally in the fitness journey of his clients.

Kevin Morrison

Coach

Kevin is a Crossfit “OG”. Starting in 2011 with nothing but a kettlebell he fell in love with how simple, effective and rewarding Crossfit can be and never looked back.

Kevin became a personal trainer in 2006 and has been coaching Crossfit since 2012. A life long student and ambassador for the transformative effects of athletics, he is dedicated to providing a high level coaching experience. Kevin is also a nutrition coach and personal trainer to both regional level athletes and weekend warriors alike.

A solid athlete with a tremendous work ethic, Kev is an example of how hard work pays off no matter where you come from. And he looks to insipre that sentiment in us all.
