Coach Hannah has always had a passion for sports and a deep competitive drive. Hannah began her coaching career when she was only 14, working with younger children at basketball camps. By the time she graduated high school, she had coached volleyball, basketball, and badminton for students between ages 6-17. Hannah continued to coach basketball in her first year of university and then transitioned to track & field, competing in long and triple jump for 3 years.
In the spring of 2015, Hannah found CrossFit while visiting her sister in the US and she hasn’t looked back. In 2018 Hannah moved to Toronto from Manitoba, where she immediately found CrossFit Metric, which became her second home. Her most proud achievement was her first ring muscle up in the 2018 Open and her favorite movements are the snatch, handstand push-ups and handstand walking. Her favorite part of CrossFit is the community. She is driven to help gym members do things they never thought they could; get lean, get fit, build emotional resilience or get their first strict pull-up!
With her love for coaching, it was a natural fit to join the CrossFit Metric (2019). coaching staff. Hannah loves to help both newcomers and seasoned veterans feel their best while also having fun and enjoying the process and making friendships that last a lifetime.
